Summer Solstice Celebration 2009
Yoga Now Studio, Unit 5, 18 Hines Rd, O'Connor (off South Street)
Join us in Goddess space as we create a sacred women’s temple dedicated to the Divine Feminine Flame.
Doors
open at 4pm for meditation, solstice craft activity & conversation.
You are welcome to use this time to light a candle or place a personal
prayer or offering on one of our goddess altars.
Devotional ceremony starts 5pm - WE WILL BE LOCKING THE DOORS so don't be late!
Shared supper, music & dancing to end the night. Close at 8pm.
Bring: a floor cushion, light wrap for meditation, a candle to give away and a plate of festive supper food to share.
Wear: Something comfortable to move in. Feel free to dress up for the occasion. Summer sun colours welcomed :-)

Women's winter retreat - 'Coming Home to Ourselves' - 31 July to 2 August 2009

On this winter weekend, Miriam and Ishara (from Daughters of Ishtar)will be creating and holding sacred Goddess space for women to come together to reflect, share, celebrate and renew our vital essence and divine purposes. Whatever your personal journey or spiritual path, you are welcome to come and bathe in the
womb-blessings of the Great Mother, and find sustenance in the wealth of wisdom and skills to be found in an open-hearted gathering of women, in return for your own open-hearted and respectful sharing.
The focal point of the weekend will be a sacred ritual on Saturday night, intended to facilitate personal, collective and global healing and transformation. There will also be space for private reflection, for relaxed interaction and chat, and to go for a walk in the natural bush environment of the grounds.*
Duration: Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
Cost: $170.
Accomodation is in shared rooms in a large house on a bush block in the country outside Harvey. Or you can bring your swag and sleep on the verandah. Or bring your own tent for complete personal privacy.

What does it mean to be becoming a woman?
Through this one day facilitated process, you will have the opportunity to explore and share your own answers to this question, in a nurturing, safe and sacred women's space.
The day will culminate in a special ceremony to mark the beginnings of the girls' passage to womanhood.
Our next Budding Ceremony
is scheduled for
10am to 4pm on Sunday 12th July
in a beautiful bushland setting
at Noonyarra, Falls Rd, Hovea WA in the Perth Hills.

Goddess Soiree - 18th October 2008
Ishara & Miriam invite you to join us for a Goddess Soiree exploring the theme of Feminine Wisdom...
Sophia, Athena, Minerva, Seshat, Saraswati, Spider Woman.. goddess names from many cultures each evoke subtly different shades of feminine wisdom.
What is distinctive about the wisdom of the Divine Feminine? Is there are particular quality to women's ways of knowing the world? Can men also tap into feminine wisdom?
We'll be serving a smorgasbord of story, poetry and music to inspire your curiosity and ignite your imagination. You'll have the opportunity to play with paper collage, share your thoughts and experiences in a relaxed social atmosphere, nibble a cookie, maybe even make a new friend or two.
